COVID has hit many Quick Service Restaurants hard. As people being asked or required to stay home and follow physical-distancing guidelines, once-bustling restaurants and cafés now sit empty. So, how do they survive during the pandemic?

Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or sometimes known as fast-food restaurants are close-down for face to face business during COVID. Especially if they don’t have a digital presence, they pretty much shut their doors. But for them who do have a digital presence, they are able to survive. Some of the big players in this industry, they saw this coming and invest their money into technology, specifically digital platforms. They have a fully integrated system from actual order processing all the way through the delivery. By doing this, they are able to provide products and gain market share during this time.

Fortunately in this era, we have a few food delivery platforms out there. QSR can take advantage of this platform for their business. But when it comes to mid-size and larger restaurants that doing the business on a much bigger scale, leveraging one of those platforms wouldn’t make economic sense. Techolution has helped some of the mid-size to larger restaurants with their delivery platforms and a mobile app that is integrated end-to-end with delivery capability.
