AI Ethics and Governance Policy

Introduction

This AI Ethics and Governance Policy outlines Techolution’s guidelines for the development, deployment, and use of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, including, but not limited to RLEF.AI, AppMod.AI, Computer Vision AI, Enterprise LLM Studio (hereinafter referred to as “AI Accelerators”). The goal is to protect Techolution and its stakeholders from potential ethical risks, maintain fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI operations, and ensure that AI technologies are used responsibly and ethically. This policy also aims to mitigate the potential risks associated with AI applications and to protect both company and client interests while fostering innovation and business productivity.

Scope

This policy applies to all Techolution personnel, including but not limited to full-time employees, part-time employees, contract workers, and any other individuals (collectively referred to as “Employees”) involved in the development, deployment, management, or use of AI solutions, including but not limited to AI accelerators. This policy also extends to third-party partners, vendors, or contractors who engage with Techolution's AI technologies or data, ensuring that all AI-related activities adhere to the ethical guidelines outlined herein.

Policy

  1. Fairness and Non-Discrimination
Techolution's AI accelerators are designed to operate without bias, ensuring equitable treatment of all users and stakeholders. We regularly test our AI models to prevent and mitigate discrimination based on race, gender, age, or any other characteristic. Our goal is to ensure that our AI solutions promote inclusivity and diversity in our AI solutions.
  2. Transparency and Explainability
We believe in the importance of transparency in AI. Techolution ensures that our AI accelerators provide clear, understandable explanations of their processes, decisions, and outcomes. Users and stakeholders should comprehend how our AI systems arrive at conclusions, fostering trust and accountability.
  3. Privacy and Data Protection
Protecting user data is a priority. Techolution adheres to strict data privacy standards, ensuring that its AI accelerators handle data securely and responsibly. We only use the necessary data for the intended purpose and employ advanced encryption methods to safeguard personal information. Techolution’s AI products comply with global data protection regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
  4. Human-Centric AI
Techolution’s AI products are designed to enhance human capabilities, not replace them. We prioritize human decision-making, creativity, and productivity in our AI solutions, ensuring that technology serves as a tool for empowerment rather than a replacement for human expertise.
  5. Accountability and Governance
Techolution’s Govern, Guide, Control (GGC) framework ensures that our AI solutions are aligned with ethical best practices, including regular reviews, human oversight where necessary, and continuous feedback. This ensures our AI deployment is both accountable and ethically guided.
    1. Govern: Techolution sets AI governance policies through a no-code, self-service framework within the RLEF.AI platform. This empowers domain experts to establish real-time policies and standards, ensuring AI operations are transparent and aligned with organizational goals. These policies provide full visibility into AI decision-making processes, fostering trust and integrity.
    2. Guide: Human-AI collaboration is essential for guiding Techolution’s AI systems. Domain experts continuously engage with AI models, providing real-time feedback to enhance accuracy and adaptability. This collaboration ensures AI systems operate effectively, meeting specific business needs by optimizing processes through a continuous feedback loop
    3. Control: Techolution upholds the integrity and reliability of AI-driven solutions by implementing certain guardrails. The "Real-Time AI Coach" feature permits operators to adjust AI responses as needed and initiates human intervention when the integrity score of AI outcomes falls below a predetermined threshold. This ensures that outputs remain within defined parameters and are capable of adapting to changing conditions and user requirements.
  6. AI Impact Assessments
Prior to the deployment of any new AI system, Techolution conducts AI Impact Assessments to evaluate the ethical, societal, and legal implications. This includes a detailed review of risks such as public safety, bias, data privacy, and unintended consequences. These assessments help mitigate risks early in the development process and are updated regularly.
  7. Continuous Improvement and Ethical Review
The field of AI is constantly evolving, and so are the ethical considerations associated with it. Techolution is committed to continuous learning and improvement in its AI ethics practices. Techolution regularly reviews and updates its AI Ethics & Governance Policy to reflect new insights, technological advancements, and societal changes. Techolution’s AI accelerators undergo periodic ethical reviews to ensure they remain aligned with our core values.
